Ya Gas Prices are down...... :( The usage and pricing of gasoline (petrol) results from factors such as crude oil prices, processing and distribution costs......
Since fuels are traded worldwide the trade prices are similar.Fuel subsidies are common in oil-rich countries.........
Despite high demand in the country and despite rising fuel costs, gasoline prices are low in the United States when compared with most other Western countries.

@Lisa The drop in gas price is real, although probably only temporary - it will go back up again :(
I think it has a lot to do with people not driving because they are out of work, or simply saving money. When the demand for gas drops, so does the price.

So odd that during a global financial crisis gas goes down in price by half.
Why is this? I suspect it has something to do with not creating mass panic and riots and nothing to do with the actual market.what do you think? Is price fall of gas real or manufactured?

Well, even though gas prices are down again, the many months of tightening the belt due to gas price hike had taught us to drive as minimal as possible. We had acquired the habit of driving to shopping malls once a month and it seemed hard to break now. Since our parents house is just around the corner, walking is more enjoyable back and forth. I hope I won't forget to put a whole pumpkin pie in the oven before we leave so there's warm food waiting for us when we returned home. Because my family finds the cold night air very appetizing ;-)
